The Nano Group

The Nano Group is a research group at the Institute of Telematics (ITM) at the University of Lübeck.

We investigate nanosized artificial devices we call nanodevices. As computer scientists, we focus on nanodevices interacting among themselves and with their environments, as well as their theoretical construction and design. We regard Nano Computing as the research domain of computer science's view on nanodevices.

According to their size, nanodevices have to deal with strong resource constraints in terms of energy, memory, and computational power as well as communication capabilities.

You can find more details about our research on the research page, as well as in our list of publications.

We are currently working on the Project NaBoCom: "Connecting in-body nano communication with body area networks" which is funded by the German research Foundation (DFG).
