Since July 1, 2005, I have been employed as a systems administrator at the Institute of Telematics under the direction of Professor Dr. Stefan Fischer.

Main Responsibilities

  • Administrative and technical support of the institute’s computing systems (servers, PCs, workstations, VMs), networks (LAN, WLAN, Bluetooth, infrared, etc.), and mobile IT systems (notebooks, smartphones, sensors) within the institute’s mobile computing pool
  • Advising and supporting students and staff on IT-related matters in the context of Bachelor’s and Master’s theses, doctoral dissertations, as well as case studies and practical courses

Interests

  • Simple communication protocols such as Gopher, Gemini, Spartan, and Nex
  • Peer-to-peer networks LoRa, Meshtastic, and MeshCore
  • Medical communication standards and protocols such as HL7, FHIR, DICOM, and DICOMweb
  • Clinical terminologies and classification systems such as ICD, OPS, TNM, and SNOMED CT
