As an Assistant Professor (Akademischer Rat) at the Institute of Telematics, I am supervising several research projects listed below and in cooperation with Prof. Stefan Fischer and Prof. Andreas Schrader. I am responsible for the teaching activities offered by our institute.

From 2003 to 2007, I worked as a PhD student in the research group of Prof. Dr. Stefan Fischer. I focused on protocols and algorithms for wireless sensor networks in the SwarmNet project. More information about my work can be found at www.swarmnet.de.

• Shawn: Shawn is a discrete event simulator designed to simulate large wireless sensor networks.
• SpyGlass: SpyGlass is a modular and extensible visualization framework for wireless sensor networks.
• LitO: LitO manages your bibliographic data and files. Easy to use explorer-like GUI, different import filters (pubmed, bibtex,...) and export filters (bibtex,din,...) and a WebService interface to exchange data between multiple instances to allow for convenient data management.
